February 16, 2018 - LivePopBars is 7 years old!!! | | LivePopBars is now up to 34.7 million visitors. There's been a change at the top of the charts, with "Swish Swish" by Katy Perry featuring Nicki Minaj claiming the title of most viewed track in 2017, preventing Britney Spears from scoring three in a row. It probably helps that Britney didn't release any music last year. |
February 16, 2017 - LivePopBars is 6 years old!!! | | LivePopBars has continued to grow over the past year and has now had 30.5 million visitors. In 2016 Britney Spears dominated again, despite late runs from Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. Her track "Make Me..." featuring G-Eazy was the most viewed track on the site over the past year. It's the 4th time Britney's army of fans has delivered her the title, following winning performances in 2015, 2013 and 2012. |
February 16, 2016 - LivePopBars is 5 years old!!! | | Five years on and my personal website has now had 25.6 million visitors. In 2015 Britney Spears reclaimed her position at the top of the chart along with Iggy Azalea. Their track "Pretty Girls" generated the most traffic to the site over the past year. It's the 3rd time Britney has taken the title. |

For the first time, the top track on the site last year wasn't by Britney Spears or Lady Gaga, with "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift claiming the honour. February 16, 2014 - LivePopBars is 3 years old!!! | | LivePopBars has had a record-breaking 3rd year, with visitor numbers now totalling 15.3 million. The visitor record of "Scream & Shout" by will.i.am and Britney Spears was broken by the Applause/Roar war on the 13th of August, and then again on the 14th. Britney Spears won back her record on September 17th however, obliterating the LivePopBars servers with the release of "Work Bitch". |

February 16, 2013 - LivePopBars is 2 years old!!! | LivePopBars was launched on the 16th of February 2011, changing the landscape of chartwatching forever.
To date LivePopBars has been visited over 9.3 million times. This year, the visitor record set by Lady Gaga's "Judas" on April 16th, 2011 was finally broken. The release of "Scream & Shout" by will.i.am and Britney Spears smashed the previous record by 15% on November 29th, 2012.

December 5, 2012 - 56 New Countries | | 56 new stores have been added to iTunes. All the regular charts are available via LivePopBars for these new stores. In addition, new Oceania, Africa and Caribbean regional charts have been added. Due to the large number of stores (119), the two World charts now no longer include very small stores, only the top 20-25 stores worldwide. This brings the total number of charts on the site to 11811. |
